This week I’m turning #FFFFind on it’s head and sharing not one, but several finds you can buy from me, right now! I’m clearing out some of my inventory, and also have a couple of client items in the mix – designer furniture, pillows, and art!Read More
When it comes to decorating kids spaces – be they bedrooms, playrooms, or cozy reading nooks under the stairs, we typically like them to be fun, colorful, durable, and not budget-busting. So I’m always on the lookout for furnishings and accessories that fit this criteria. And Surya’s Trenza Pillows and Poufs check all of those boxes…Read More
What is better than lounging in a cozy, inviting corner chaise longue with a good book (or podcast, or Instagram feed) and your favorite beverage? Nothing, ever. Well, maybe napping – though I’m personally not a napper (I always feel more tired when I wake up!). When I am designing living spaces for clients I am usually angling to see if I can fit one into the furniture layout. It isn’t always easy, but when there is adequate space in just the right place, it is magic!
The only problem is…I often have a really hard time finding a chaise with the ‘just right’ specs – style, size, one-arm (generally looks best in a corner) and, most importantly, quality construction.
But I’m all about finding unicorns, and today I’m sharing one with you.Read More
It has been awhile since a plumbing fixture or fitting earned #FFFFind status. I recently learned about the coolest innovation in lavatory (sink) and tub drains, and wanted to share it with you. What’s that you say…a “cool” drain? [Note: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, which means if you click…Read More

Well hello there! It’s been an embarrassingly long time since I’ve written here. So long, in fact, that I am considering this a ‘relaunch’ of Interiors for Families. I’ve truly missed writing here, and making connections with my readers. With the world in various states of lockdown and quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic, now…Read More
If you read – and enjoyed – this past Tuesday’s post, then this one will be right up your alley! Marimekko epitomizes the color and pattern-happy side of Scandinavian modern. In researching my blog post, I was reminded of a very cool product they offer – coated cotton fabric. Many of its most popular designs…Read More
This is a very special edition of #FFFFind! This week’s finds are products that were recently incorporated in “The Morning Kitchen” that Dianne Aucello (Edesia Kitchen & Bath Studio) and I created for the Junior League of Boston 2017 Designer Show House, which just closed a couple of weeks ago. If you weren’t able to…Read More
As you likely already know, when it comes to kitchens, I am all about practicality. Which is probably why it’s never crossed my mind to incorporate a gorgeous, old-worldy copper sink into any of my designs. They are SO beautiful, but do require some special care if you want to maintain the finish in a…Read More
